For the festival A Shaded View on Fashion Film (ASVOFF) in Barcelona we made this short. Concept by Merel van Oosten, Puck Gall en Simone van Tongeren. Directed by Selwyn de Bruijn, Photography by Edward van Dongen and sound by NMNN.
For the IFFR shorts event in Rotterdam we made this 25 seconds teaser. With alsmost 250 unique pieces of footage we visualize the special event in the form of their logo. A technical challenge awaited us, for their are more than 200 HD clips. Video by VIED and Selwyn de Bruijn, compositing and sound design by NMNN.
NMNN and Vied collaborated in this short from Selwyn de Bruijn. A short dark story with a minimum of hardware available. No funding so no budget.
TeleSync was performing at the Bring Your Own Beamer Festival Amsterdam/2011. Bringing NMNN and VIED. Performing some real-time mapping on different surfaces throughout the hall and showing the Dummy_Boy.
From the BYOB website: "‘Bring Your Own Beamer’ is coming to Amsterdam for a one night visual exposition open to everyone. B.Y.O.B is an international series of one night events that have already been held in over 25 cities including Berlin, Athens, London, Los Angeles, New York, Mexico City and Paris. The open concept is as simple as it is effective: One night only, one empty space and as many beamers as possible to transform the white walls into a dynamic and ever changing exposition. B.Y.O.B is an exploration of the medium of projection, a celebration of the new world we live in and a glimpse of what visual experiences could look like in the future."
In collaboration with VIED we did the design for the fashion show 2011by WDKA. A combination of video-projections and interactive installations decorated the enormous hall where the catwalk was located. The 'phenixloodsen' in Rotterdam were transformed into an audiovisual experience supporting the theme of the WDKA Graduation Festival, "The Time Is Now".
People all around the world celebrate the death of their enemy's. What's the difference?
Why be happy about someone's death as it will lead to more deaths. What's the difference between all these people? Can you still tell from my montage? The montage is done with a selfmade algorithm that chooses random video-fragments from 2 seperate folders. One folder contains people from America celebrating the death of Osama Bin Laden, the other folder contains footage from people from the middle-east celebrating the attack on the WTC. What separates these people from one each other?
Life is a bitch, and so is audio and video :) Shot with 550D with Canon 17-40/ Sigma 10-20/ Sigma 30MM F/1.4. Music is from Stijn Koek. Video is by Dennis Neumann. Special thanks to Fleur Stoltenborgh.
Old webcams, broken and forgotten stripped from it's housing. The circuit gives us the possibility to make new connections on the board. The short-circuit gives unexpected results which are then being recorded. This footage we use for our VJ-performances.
